Community Education

JERD is proud to serve the residents and visitors of the district with quailty, professional emergency medical care.  In taking care of medical emergencies and/or injuries we also feel it is our obligation to assist in reducing illness and injury!  JERD offers many opportunities for educating our community. 

Examples of safety programs we offer are basic life support (CPR), first aid, child safety seat inspections and installations, group tours of our facility and explainations of our equipment and it's uses.  Courses are available about making your homes safer for children and/or the elderly, disaster prepardness and many more.  We offer educational information and training to groups of all ages.  JERD is pleased to host your group and host a program in our training room or we can come to your agency.
